Our next Club Otago Lunch will be held on Friday 12 July, 11.30am for a 12pm start,  at the Glenroy Auditorium at the Dunedin Centre, Harrop Street.

Our guest speaker will be Dr Ian Griffin, Director of the Otago Museum,  who is joining us to speak on his adventures in Astronomy.

Ian's love for the Southern skies was sparked a few days after moving to New Zealand when he witnessed the Aurora Australis, also known as the Southern Lights, above a Dunedin beach. Since then, he has developed a passion for photographing the night sky, with a particular focus on capturing the Aurora Australis.
